About me

I’m a freelance multimedia journalist based in Toronto, currently covering the U.S. and Canada for the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

With bylines in The New York Times and The Economist, I write news and features on key issues from health to climate change, as well as photojournalism and podcasting.

My work also includes fellowships from New America, the Dart Center for Journalism & Trauma, and OPEN. I hold a BA in History from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Comparative Political Economy from the London School of Economics.
